The Klassical Kidz Difference

At Klassical Kidz, students don't simply
take music lessons.

They grow as musicians within a
community that grows with them.

Students at Chamber Music Institute collaborate across ages to create, perform, and explore music together.

Developing complete musicians through private instruction, collaborative music-making, and a rich, comprehensive music education.

More Than Music Lessons

At Klassical Kidz, we believe music is meant to be experienced, not just practiced.

Founded in 2009 by sisters Lydia and Adrienne, Klassical Kidz Music Studio was built around a shared vision of providing children with a solid musical education. Together, they hold Master's Degrees in Music and bring more than 20 years of teaching experience to their work, combining a deep love of music with a passion for helping young musicians grow.

Our philosophy is built on four guiding principles:

Attitude. Effort. Consistency. Musical Excellence.

We believe that musical excellence grows from a positive attitude, consistent effort, and a willingness to embrace the learning process.

Our students are encouraged to approach music with curiosity, perseverance, and joy as they develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

At Klassical Kidz, we welcome students who are eager to learn, willing to work, and excited to be part of a musical community. We hold students to high standards not because every student must become a professional musician, but because every student deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of achieving.

While many programs focus primarily on weekly private lessons, Klassical Kidz students participate in a carefully designed musical journey that combines private instruction with weekly ensembles or chamber music, performances, musicianship experiences, and opportunities to grow as collaborative artists.

From their very first years, students learn that music is about much more than playing the correct notes. They learn to listen deeply, communicate with others, support their ensemble partners, and experience the joy of creating something together.

As students grow, so does their musical understanding. Alongside instrumental study, students explore music theory, ear training, conducting, music history, harmonic analysis, and the works of the great master composers. These experiences help students understand not only how to perform music, but how music is created.

We believe that character and musicianship grow together. Through our M.E.R.I.T.S. Program (Musical Effort Resulting In Total Success!), students are recognized not only for musical progress, but also for preparation, respect, teamwork, responsibility, and consistent effort. These qualities help young musicians become confident learners both inside and outside the studio.

A Musical Journey That Grows With Your Child

At Klassical Kidz, students do not have to search for the next step in their musical journey—we provide a pathway that grows with them.

From their earliest musical experiences in Little Beats and Little Players, through Elementary Ensembles, and into our Chamber Players Program, students are continually challenged, supported, and inspired as musicians. Each stage builds upon the last, allowing students to develop not only their instrumental skills, but also their independence, confidence, creativity, and understanding of music.

Through private lessons, collaborative ensembles, performances, and immersive experiences like Chamber Music Institute, students become part of a musical community where they can continue growing year after year.

At Klassical Kidz, students don't simply take music lessons. They grow as musicians within a community that grows with them.

The Impact of a Klassical Kidz Education

The greatest measure of our program is not only what students learn while they are with us, but what they carry with them long after they leave.

One of our recent graduates reflected on his Klassical Kidz experience while writing his college application essay:

“As soon as I started taking piano lessons, at age 7, I also started weekly ensemble classes, a requirement at my music studio.

As I progressed, I learned the importance of keeping a steady beat, listening to others' parts and blending. Teachers award points based not just on technique, but also practicing, arriving on time, and being supportive. At the end of the semester, they give Virtuoso Awards not to those who play the best, but to those who contribute consistently in our community in every way. These principles have shaped how I try to contribute to all my communities.”

Our Hope

Our goal is not simply to teach children how to play an instrument.

Our goal is to develop complete musicians whose knowledge, artistry, and love of making music with others will continue to grow throughout their lives.
